[destinationuab] AIS Elections 2012-13

Hello everyone,

Hope you've had a pleasant spring and are ready for the summer. Time has come for the AIS to form a new committee for the year 2012-13. 

If you would like to nominate yourself, please send in your nominations to mannu.iitkgp@gmail.com by 5 PM CST on May 28th, 2012. Please mention the post you would like to run for and the department you are in at UAB. 

Please note that the nominations would be for the following posts:

1. President
2. Vice-President
3. Secretary
4. Treasurer
5. Web-Admin
6. Social Chair
7. Sports Officer
8. Alumni Relations Officer 

IMPORTANT:
1. Only one nomination per person is allowed.
2. In the worst scenario with no nominations, the AIS organization will be dissolved. (The organization needs atleast a President, a Secretary and a Web Admin to remain active)

We highly encourage all the Indians at UAB to nominate themselves. It does not take more than 20-30 hours of your time over the whole year.

Please step up and email me your nomination asap. The incoming students would really appreciate the time and effort you put in, as a part of the AIS committee.
