[destinationuab] Help needed: Fire in Summit appts

Hello friends in our Birmingham community,
As you all must be knowing that there was a fire in Summit appts last
week and a lot of Indian residents were affected by the fire. One of
them was Mr. Satyajit Patra. He is a postdoc at UAB and has 2 kids. He
lost all of his belonging in the fire. By gods grace his family
members were unharmed by the fire. On behalf of the AIS 2011-2012
committee, I would encourage our community to generously donate some
money to help them cope with the situation. Please find below the
